Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to your use of Helm and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice and without liability to us.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Helm to:

1.1 Illegal Activities

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes
  • Evade taxes or create fraudulent financial records
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Engage in any form of fraud, deception, or misrepresentation

1.2 Harmful Content

  • Upload, store, or transmit viruses, malware, ransomware, or other malicious code
  • Store or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or harassing
  • Distribute spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited commercial communications
  • Store or process illegal content of any kind

1.3 Security Violations

  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access
  • Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities without explicit written permission
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security measures or access controls
  • Interfere with service availability through denial-of-service attacks or similar methods
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

1.4 Platform Abuse

  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits, bans, or restrictions
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data without permission
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automation, bots, or scripts that degrade service quality for other users
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Violate any rate limits or usage quotas

2. Resource Limits

To ensure fair usage for all customers:

  • API rate limits apply based on your subscription plan
  • Storage limits apply based on your subscription plan
  • We reserve the right to throttle, restrict, or suspend accounts engaged in excessive usage
  • Usage that degrades service quality for other users may be restricted without notice

3. Account Sharing

Each user account is for individual use only. Account credentials must not be shared with others. If you need multiple users, you must:

  • Create separate accounts for each user
  • Use our team features to invite team members
  • Ensure each user agrees to these Terms

You are responsible for all actions taken under your account, including by team members or anyone who gains access through your credentials.

4. Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all data you input into Helm, including:

  • Financial transaction data must be accurate and reflect genuine transactions
  • Contact data must be collected with proper consent and in compliance with privacy laws
  • Financial data must reflect actual transactions and not be fabricated
  • All data must comply with applicable laws, including data protection regulations

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THE ACCURACY OR LEGALITY OF YOUR DATA. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND LIABILITY FOR DATA YOU ENTER INTO THE SERVICE.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them toabuse@bruvora.com. Include as much detail as possible. We will investigate and take appropriate action, but are not obligated to disclose the outcome of any investigation.

6. Monitoring

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor use of the Service to ensure compliance with this AUP. We may access your account and data as necessary to investigate suspected violations, respond to legal requests, or protect our services and users.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Warning notices
  • Temporary suspension of access
  • Permanent termination of your account
  • Deletion of your content and data
  • Reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
  • Legal action to recover damages

WE MAY TAKE ENFORCEMENT ACTION WITHOUT NOTICE AND WITHOUT LIABILITY. WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE A WARNING BEFORE SUSPENDING OR TERMINATING YOUR ACCOUNT. NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ACCOUNTS TERMINATED FOR AUP VIOLATIONS.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time at our sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
